We as humans often think our power is physical. The stronger the person, the more powerful he/she can become, for no one would be able to stop them. This, physicaly, of course. This can be seen at school ,where bullys have the “power” over the weak ones, who have no option but to hold, resist the abuse. This has also been seen in many cultures throughout the history, where the most powerful was the one to hold the biggest army, to throw the deadliest attack, or simply to hit the hardest with a fist.
However, none of this should be necesary if we knew how to use the most powerful of all weapons: Words.
With only words you can disarm a person. Leave them helpless facing their thoughts, to turn their inner world upside down. Put their thoughts against them.
But why limit this just to a ofenssive/defensive use?
With words we are able to create worlds. Vast universes have been made with the correct use of words, phrases, where we are able to dream and live another life, different than the one we live daily.
Words, that make us able to express feelings, ideas, thoughts write blogs that almost no one reads (lol) and make us gods.
A word can be a simple thing. Small, short, tiny, meaningless. Yet put in the right context it can move worlds.
Words have made us evolve as humans, because humans cannot think without words. Try thinking about something more complex than your basic instincts, without envolving a single word, and laugh trying.
Remember to use Words more than fists, more than violence. Choose the correct words in order to avoid a fight, and take advantage of your capabilities. Read more. Visit new worlds.
