“It pains me so” he said

“You no longer have need of me”

“Disposable I am to you. Don’t deny it”

“You’re wrong” she said

“Nothing’s changed, I sware”

“I’m fine and so are you”

“What happened?” He asked

“I still remember when we were friends”

“But now you seem so far away”

“I’m fine” she answered

“There’s nothing wrong”

And as he left he muttered

“I know you’re not”

“You’ve never been a good liar”

“I’ll still be here, in silence”

“So you may call, and I’ll be there”

It was dark and it was cold
I had lost and threw myself to the abyss
And as I fell I thought
“No matter how hard I try, I´ll end up blind”
And so, I went away
Not out of will, but force alone
While the thought arose
“May Death embrace me soon”
Yet in that darkness I saw a light
Faint and distant, yet beautiful, innocent
As it came closer, shone stronger
Like a torch it lit something inside me
I could feel it´s warmth and strength
So beautiful, so pure
I wished this feeling lasted for eternity
But it was time to leave
And so I wrote my thanks in a note
In hope that it would make it shine brighter
Even though darkness still surrounds me
And even though I walk alone once more
A faint light now shines within me
I can now see a little of myself
I have been saved

We walk in the dark
away from the crowds and people
We live in fear
of showing ourselves to the world
And yet…
As we linger in the shadows
As we crawl through this world
As we walk alone, unseen
We wait for the day
when someone will notice
when someone will see
the day when someone will care…

Who are we…?

We all die, eventually
Death is not the end, nor the start
It is a checkpoint
It is a toll

Throughout our lives we live differently
Some seek quietness
Others adventure
While others seek to avoid life itself

From the moment we are born we are to gather experiences, knowledge.
Should we neglect this, the afterlife might seem terrible.
To think you have done nothing for yourself in your life can be frightening.

In order to keep experiencing and living, we should remain healthy.
Respect our bodies, and also our minds. For a mind cannot be without a body, and a body is meaningless without a mind.

However, what is truly our mind?
A mount of thoughts and functions?
A conjoined mix of feelings, ideas and plans?
A network of neurons that create a world within ourselves?
Or is it the reflection of our souls and inner beings?

And this night here I sit
as the candle burns and the light fades
One thought, and one thought only
As my drink slowly turns cold

Here I write what my heart holds
A weight turned burden as my mind flows
The key I have gifted
And hope to receive one day

A moment of stillness, as I behold
What seems to be an angel, no less and no more.
A pure imperfection that is perfect to me
And not even a dark night can hide.

And once more I lay betrayed
Images and thoughts untold, unseen, yet foreseen
As my mind plays the evil part
In this drama I call life

Diving in a sea of uncertainty
Of fears turned into nightmares
Devouring my once restored heart
It burns to ashes yet again

Cant blame no one but you
The earthquake that shook my ground
Who built my fears and shattered my soul
For it is you who I love and no one else

Don’t leave me waiting and teach me
The one thing you have yet to learn
So we can grow together in life
This lesson, this thought: this love.

I feel the earth moving…

Unknown to me, these forces pull me.
I hear her calling me…
The voice and sounds, undisturbingly…

The falling snow I feel,
I freeze, yet not of fear.
‘Tis you who calls,
The spirit within this ancient stone.

This lack of warmth, still…
A journey that transcends time
A figment as reality
A fragment of insanity

I feel this stone shaking…
It’s freezing on the outside,
Untouchable, it’s core…
Screaming for your voice.

In this moment I find myself in a state of serenity, of total connection with my thoughts. Recently I have noticed that I lost myself about a year ago. I changed for some reason I do not entirely know. I forgot part of myself, left it behind and became someone else. Unfortunately, said change was not for the best, hence I now see the need to return.

You see, I live tormented by mostly everything around me. The noise from the streets, people walking by, the concrete walls that surround me and the paved streets beneath my feet. I live in a synthetic world. We have lost our connection with nature, so no spirits walk among us. I see a tree growing in every corner, one with less life than the next. All alone, they just survive, but the spirits I barely sense in them.

It is due to this lifeless wasteland we call a city that people are disturbed. Life shatters and we lose ourselves into chaos. It´s mayhem, where living grass is replaced for concrete or synthetic grass. It keeps the green, takes the living. Useless.

The reason I came to write this is simple. Lose not yourself, but the rest. Lose your stress. Lose the car. Throw away your phone. Finally, start to listen. There are birds in the sky, trees dancing to the rhythm of the wind and water flowing underground.
I now live in order to finish my career, work fast and get to travel. Go as far away as I can from the big cities, where life travels.

Lose not yourself, but the rest. Let your mind not be poisoned.
